LEVELS OF MANAGEMENT
THE CAIN OF AUTHORITY -RESPONSIBILITY RELATIONSHIP IS CALLED
LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT.
Top Management:-
Board of directors ,CEO, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER ,Chairman,Managing Director ,General Manager,president and vice prsident
Middle management :-
Functional manager,Departmental Heads such as finance manager ,production manager marketing manager operation manager or plant superintendent
Lower level management
Supervisor,Foreman,Inspector etc.
Top Level performing the functions like-----planning and Organising
Middle Level performing the functions like ----staffing and directing
Lower level performing the function ------- controlling
Management is considered a three -tier activity .The top level management focuses on determination of objectives and policies, Middle level attempt to achieves these objectives through the efforts of lower level managers.
